The MBHS Cross Country teams competed on Thursday morning in their 6A sectionals meet at Hewitt Trussville High School. The girls won and the boys placed second. These finishes qualify both teams for the state meet next Saturday, Nov. 9 in Oakville. There, both teams seek to repeat as 6A state champions. The girls have won three consecutive 6A cross country state championships dating back to 2021.
In total, the boys are seeking their 17th cross country title in school history while the girls are seeking their 27th. Congratulations to all of our Spartan runners and coaches and good luck at state!
