Marianna Murray hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the second for the Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans.

Mortimer Jordan Varsity Softball added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Hays walked, Leah Wangaard singled to right field, and Emma McConnell singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Alyssa Hays A. earned the win for Mortimer Jordan Varsity Softball. The righty allowed two hits and one run over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Charlotte Kearse took the loss for Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans. The right-handed pitcher went three and one-third innings, allowing nine runs (eight earned) on eight hits, striking out two and walking five.

Anna Kate Shea and Murray each collected one hit for Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans. Murray went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
