Mountain Brook 67, Ramsay 44 — Spartans roll to 4–0

MOUNTAIN BROOK — Mountain Brook used a strong start and steady defense to claim a 67–44 win over Ramsay on Tuesday, pushing the Spartans to 4–0.

Trey Davis led the way with 19 points and 7 assists, orchestrating the offense and creating looks for teammates. Parker Wright added 17 points, attacking the rim and knocking down timely shots. Hill McCluney contributed 6 points and 7 rebounds, hauling in possessions that helped sustain Mountain Brook's tempo.

Coach Tyler Davis pointed to the home crowd as a key factor in the win: "The crowd was electric tonight — that energy lifted our guys and kept the momentum going. When the gym gets loud we play with more urgency and confidence, and that made a big difference."

Mountain Brook's pressure defense generated turnovers that turned into transition points throughout the game, while crisp ball movement led to high-percentage shots. The Spartans built an early lead and maintained control down the stretch.
