Leeds Greenwave Softball captured the lead, 7-2, in the top of the fourth after Robyn Kirksey singled to center field, #10 walked, #1 walked, Rhyan Carson hit into a fielder's choice, Sophie Gromko singled to center field, Selah Larson hit a sacrifice fly, and Marley Miller singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Leeds Greenwave Softball scored five runs on one hit in the top of the sixth inning. Miller singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, an error scored two runs, and #10 grounded out, scoring one run.
Kirksey earned the win for Leeds Greenwave Softball. The starter surrendered seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out four and walking one.
Mackenzie Wedell took the loss for Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans. The right-handed pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs (five earned) on eight hits, striking out five and walking four.
Anne Turner Goldman went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans in hits. Murray,

Leeds Greenwave Softball worked the count all day, tallying six walks. Leeds Greenwave Softball didn't commit a single error in the field. Tanner Galloway had the most chances in the field with eight.
