Vestavia Hills Rebels Varsity jumped out to the lead in the top of the fourth inning after an error scored three runs, Chloe Leahy singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Evelyn Splawn tripled, scoring two runs, Hannah Walker singled, scoring one run, and Lilly Ferguson grounded out, scoring one run.
Reagan Rape took the loss for Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans. The pitcher went three and one-third innings, allowing eight runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking one. Kate Flanagan stepped in the circle first for Vestavia Hills Rebels Varsity. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one.
EJ Bragan provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Vestavia Hills Rebels Varsity with three runs batted in.
