Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans Roll Past Bob Jones Varsity Patriots

Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans easily dispatched Bob Jones Varsity Patriots on Friday, 10-3.

Bob Jones Varsity Patriots got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Kaila Holloway doubled down the left field line, Carson Horton singled to center field, and Evelyn Gauthier grounded out, each scoring one run.

Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans captured the lead, 5-3, in the top of the fifth after Claire Robinett singled to center field, Bob Jones Varsity Patriots committed an error, and Anne Turner Goldman singled, each scoring one run.

Mountain Brook Varsity Spartans scored five runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Reagan Rape singled, scoring one run, Goldman singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored two runs.
