Four different Spartans found the net and
Griffin Lamkin recorded a shutout in the season opener for the Boys in Green. On the road to start the 2025 campaign, seven players competed in their first Varsity contest and made it count. After both teams thought they had scored only for it to be waved off for offside,
Harrison Brown broke the deadlock in the 28th minute with a laser of a shot through traffic.
Henry McGahey doubled our lead just 3 minutes before the half with a diving header off a great cross from
Harris Burson and we took that 2-0 lead to the half.
Carson Hahn took a nice feed from
Edmund Ball 10 minutes in the 2nd half and finished well into the corner. Carson then recorded a brace as he took a pass from
Harrison Brown and unleashed a bomb from distance to raise the score to 4-0. Charlie Tabb then tallied his first ever Spartan goal with a penalty in the 75th minute that he finished well into the corner to reach our final score of 5-0.
Griffin Lamkin made four saves to record the shutout.
